‘Beyond the Eagle Obsession’ Discs in Production

Beyond the Eagle Obsession went into disc production today, August 28. The film was finished just two weeks ago, and the rest of the pipeline is already in motion: closed captioning, authoring, and the dozen other steps between a finished film and a disc in your hands. If manufacturing goes as planned, we expect to ship before the end of September.

We’re actively seeking distribution for both films right now. That process takes time, but you backed this, so you hear the milestones first.

Two responses we wanted to share with you.

Roberto Baldassari, one of the artists featured in the film, wrote:

“I completely understand the reasons that led you to approach The Eagle Obsession the way you did, using the Eagle as a kind of ‘pretext’ to explore a much broader theme: the inspirational power of science fiction on young minds, and the broken promise of a future in space that the 1960s and ‘70s had led us to believe in. I think that choice was the best way to make the first film more universal and accessible to a wider audience. But I’m absolutely delighted that you also decided to make Beyond The Eagle Obsession for those of us who have been fans from the very beginning.”
