STRATEGIC AIR COMMAND & AEROSPACE MUSEUM
May 4, 2024
May began with Jeffrey Morris traveling to Ashland, Nebraska to the Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum. The museum was built as a state-of-the-art center for housing the aircraft and artifacts used by the Strategic Air Command during the Cold War. Today, the museum features an amazing collection of restored aircraft along with interactive STEM and space science displays that look forward to the future of exploration.
Jeffrey was at the museum to meet with his friend, Aerospace Engineer and artist Aldo Spadoni. Together they viewed the Dynetics design for the new Moon lander, or Human Landing System, also known as the ALPACA. During their interview, they spoke about how you might approach building a real, functional Eagle. Aldo also showed Jeffrey some of his sketches of this Eagle concept.
