The Eagle Obsession, the inspiring new documentary from FutureDude Entertainment, will celebrate its world premiere at the Twin Cities Film Fest. For filmmaker Jeffrey Morris, the debut is both a career milestone and a homecoming. A Twin Cities resident since 1988, Morris credits the region’s creative energy and entrepreneurial spirit for shaping his vision. “Minnesota is where imagination meets integrity,” Morris said. “I’ve built my life and career here, and there’s no place I’d rather premiere this film.”

A cinematic tribute to science, art, and the optimism of the Space Age, The Eagle Obsession explores how 1970s science fiction and the Apollo era inspired generations to dream big. The film’s recent Los Angeles preview drew widespread acclaim for its beauty, emotion, and message of hope—momentum that now builds toward its world premiere in Minneapolis.

Beyond its inspiring story, The Eagle Obsession also celebrates the Twin Cities themselves, featuring stunning cinematography that showcases local landmarks and natural beauty throughout the region. The film also features students from University Avenue Elementary School in Blaine, MN in a surprising and emotional aspect. 

The screening not only highlights a visionary Minnesota filmmaker but also underscores the Twin Cities’ growing reputation as a launchpad for globally relevant, high-quality cinema.
