MINNEAPOLIS, MN | D & N CINEMATIC
December 4-5, 2024
Jeffrey Morris assembled a team at D & N Cinematic in Minneapolis, Minnesota for two days of
shooting with practical models. This shoot was focused on attempting to capture some of the
iconic types of Eagle scenes we remember from Space: 1999. The crew included model
builders, prop and set fabricators, a highly skilled camera crew, and more. Jeffrey was also
joined at D & N by two special guests. Todd Morton (Space: 1999 Props & Ships) and Jan
Wenneberg (Creator of the amazing 1/4-scale Eagle build in Denmark) had traveled to
Minnesota to join in the effort.
Everyone worked hard for several long days to capture the required shots. As each segment
came together, the group imagined what it must have been like to work on the original set.
Jeffrey and the team also gained an even greater respect for the incredible work created by
legendary VFX artist Brian Johnson and his crew five decades ago for Space: 1999.
