PLEDGE HARBOR INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL

In late April, Jeffrey Morris had the opportunity to meet virtually with students and teachers from Pledge Harbor International School in Bangladesh. The students had gathered for a special astronomy event organized by the Dhrubotara Astronomy Organization. As part of the event, they had scheduled a special virtual meeting to discuss space exploration and science fiction with Jeffrey.

The virtual session allowed the students to build an appreciation for the connections between astronomy and science fiction in Jeffrey’s work. He spoke to them about “The Eagle Obsession” as well as some of his other projects. They were then able to ask questions about his career as a writer and director. He also spoke to them about his love for science and exploration. Everyone came away from this interaction feeling connected by shared fascination with the Universe.
