STARBASE MINNESOTA

Jeffrey Morris traveled to Saint Paul, Minnesota to regroup with the students from University Avenue Elementary School – ACES (Aerospace, Children’s Engineering, and Science). Their destination for the day was STARBASE Minnesota. The STARBASE Minnesota mission is to educate & inspire youth in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) for greater academic & lifelong success.

For the past several weeks, Jeffrey had been working closely with this small core group of 5th graders from University Avenue Elementary School – ACES. He had challenged the kids to figure out how to build their versions of an Eagle from Space: 1999. The students spent the day presenting the results of their projects and answering questions about their designs. In a special surprise, Jeffrey then presented each of these young engineers with their own MPC Space 1999: 14″ Eagle Transporter model kit.
