At a very young age, I was already hooked on anything produced by Gerry Anderson. UFO was no different. But then there was this new show: Cosmos 1999, translated from Space: 1999, that debuted on Radio-Canada in 1975.

The Eagle was the logical evolution from one of my favorite vehicles; Thunderbird 2. I started to draw it from memory and even built it in LEGO. I was in heaven when I saw the MPC Fun-dimension model kit and, of course, managed to convinced my mother to purchase me one. I wasn’t aware of inaccuracies and such things.

Over time, as an adult, I wanted a more accurate Eagle – so it was a dream come true when Round 2 produced the most accurate Eagle 1 kit. Since acquiring, building and painting that kit, I photographed and created hundreds of special effects pictures (and a few short videos), trying to pay my humble homage to Brian Johnson and his talented team.
