“THE MOONWALKERS”

Before leaving London, Jeffrey had another fascinating stop to make. He had arranged to take a
crew for a special day of filming at Lightroom. This new venue opened in January of 2024 and
features state-of-the-art audio and digital projection technology. They were there to experience
the new “The Moonwalkers: A Journey With Tom Hanks”. This immersive show (Co-written and
narrated by Tom Hanks) tells the stories of the Apollo missions and the astronauts who made
them possible. “The Moonwalkers” also looks at the Artemis program and the return of crewed
missions to the lunar surface.

Jeffrey was joined at “The Moonwalkers” by author and science journalist Piers Bizony. Over the
past several decades, Bizony has been the author of several books on space exploration,
science, and science fiction. They took advantage of the incredible setting provided by this
exhibit to be the backdrop for their interview. Their conversation will be featured in “The Eagle
Obsession.”
